Parking for 11 Vehicles
The entire first floor of our clinic is an outdoor ground-level parking area, making it easy to visit us by car on both weekdays and weekends.
Parking spaces are available for up to 11 vehicles. Please feel free to use the parking area when visiting our clinic.

What to Bring
Please bring your health insurance information, such as your My Number Card used as a health insurance card or another valid health insurance eligibility document.
Please also bring any medical referral letters, medication records, or documents from another dental or medical clinic if available.

The reception desk is located on the second floor. First-time patients should proceed to the second-floor reception area upon arrival.

Private and Comfortable Treatment Areas
Nagoya Orca Dental & Orthodontic Clinic provides semi-private treatment areas, fully private treatment rooms, and private consultation rooms.
For children, we have private pediatric treatment rooms, a pediatric preventive and orthodontic care space without a conventional dental chair, and a spacious kids’ room.
Our clinic also includes a nursing room and an accessible restroom. We have designed the clinic so that children, parents, older patients, and patients with disabilities can visit more comfortably.
We also use digital appointment systems and visual explanation tools to help patients understand their dental condition and proposed treatment.
What to Expect During Your First Visit
The exact examination and treatment process may vary depending on your symptoms and dental condition. The following is a general example of a first visit.
01Medical Questionnaire — Approximately 10 Minutes
First, please complete a medical questionnaire.
Please provide as much information as possible about your current symptoms, medical history, allergies, and any medications you are taking. Accurate information helps us examine and treat you more appropriately.
After checking in, please wait on the second floor or in the waiting area on the third floor.
02Consultation and Visual Examination — Approximately 5 Minutes
A member of our dental team will ask you about your symptoms based on the information provided in your questionnaire.
Please let us know about any pain, concerns, or treatment preferences that you were unable to include on the form. We will also visually examine the affected area.
03Dental X-rays — Approximately 5 Minutes
Dental X-rays may be taken to examine areas that cannot be seen during a visual examination.
There are several types of dental imaging, and we will select the appropriate method based on your symptoms and dental condition.
04Dental Examination and Records — Approximately 10 Minutes
We will examine your teeth and gums in greater detail.
We may also take photographs of your mouth to record your current dental condition and help explain the examination results.
05Consultation — Approximately 10 Minutes
We will review the examination results, X-rays, and photographs together.
The dentist will explain your current dental condition and recommend appropriate treatment options. Please feel free to tell us about your concerns, preferences, and questions.
06Treatment — Approximately 15 Minutes
When possible, necessary treatment may begin on the same day.
If you are experiencing severe pain or discomfort, we will prioritize treatment intended to relieve your symptoms.
Some treatments cannot be completed during the first visit. In such cases, we will explain the treatment plan and arrange your next appointment.
07Post-Treatment Explanation and Regular Maintenance
After treatment, we will explain what was done and provide instructions for home care.
Regular checkups and professional maintenance are important even after treatment has been completed. Our staff will explain how to care for your teeth and gums at home.
The recommended timing of regular checkups varies depending on your dental condition. For many patients, a checkup approximately once every three months may be recommended.
Orthodontic Consultation and Treatment Process
Orthodontic treatment is planned individually according to each patient’s tooth alignment, bite, age, oral health, and lifestyle.

02Visit the Clinic for a Consultation
During your consultation, we will ask about the concerns you have regarding your tooth alignment, bite, and appearance.
Every patient has different concerns and treatment goals. Please feel free to tell us what you would like to improve and what worries you about orthodontic treatment.
03X-rays and Dental Photographs
X-rays and photographs are used to examine the alignment of your teeth and the condition of the areas beneath the gums.
The visible portion of the teeth is only one part of orthodontic diagnosis. The roots of the teeth, jawbone, and bite must also be evaluated before an appropriate treatment plan can be considered.
043D Orthodontic Simulation
Our clinic uses the iTero digital scanner for orthodontic examinations and simulations.
The scanner creates a three-dimensional digital model of your current tooth alignment. Depending on the treatment being considered, this model may be used to show how your teeth could change during treatment.
The simulation is an estimated treatment image and does not guarantee a specific result.
05Beginning Orthodontic Treatment
Treatment begins after you have received an explanation of the proposed treatment method, expected treatment period, fees, and possible risks.
Depending on your dental condition and treatment plan, clear aligners, braces, or another orthodontic method may be recommended.
06Completion of Treatment and Retention
Orthodontic treatment may take several months or more than two years, depending on the condition of the teeth and the selected treatment method.
After the teeth have been moved into their planned positions, a retainer is generally used to help stabilize them and reduce the risk of the teeth moving back toward their original positions.
The length of the retention period varies from patient to patient.

Thorough Infection Control for Today’s Needs
In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the need for hygiene management and sterilization measures at dental clinics has become more important than ever.
In addition to standard infection-control measures, our clinic provides thorough staff training in hygiene management.
We have also introduced a Class B sterilizer that meets European standards, allowing us to maintain a high level of hygiene without unnecessary compromise.
We may also ask patients to assist us by disinfecting their hands and rinsing their mouths when entering the treatment area.

AXEOS Dental Cone Beam CT Scanner by Dentsply Sirona
This equipment is used for implant treatment, orthodontic treatment, root canal treatment, wisdom tooth extraction, and other procedures.
Use in Implant Treatment
At our clinic, we use a device known as a surgical guide for every implant procedure. The position and angle of the implant are accurately simulated using a computer-generated model, allowing us to perform treatment with a level of precision that cannot be achieved through visual judgment and manual technique alone.
Our dental cone beam CT scanner allows us to accurately assess each patient’s jaw shape and bone condition. We then simulate the position of the implant and the final prosthetic tooth. Because patients can also view a visual representation of the expected treatment outcome, the system is useful for making explanations easier to understand.
Use in Orthodontic Treatment
In orthodontic treatment, it is important to assess not only the visible portions of the teeth but also the roots hidden beneath the gums. In fact, some of the most important information in orthodontic treatment cannot be seen with the naked eye. Dental cone beam CT imaging clearly shows the relationship between the jawbone and the teeth, making it valuable for accurate diagnosis and planning how the teeth should be moved.
CT imaging plays an important role in modern orthodontic diagnosis and treatment planning.
Use in Children’s Dental Treatment
In children’s dental care, cone beam CT imaging can be used to assess the condition of baby teeth and developing permanent teeth before they erupt.
High-quality images are essential for a reliable diagnosis. At the same time, radiation exposure should be kept as low as reasonably possible for the patient. The dental CT scanner used at our clinic is designed to provide detailed images while limiting radiation exposure.
iTero by Align Technology
This equipment is used for orthodontic treatment.
In the past, dental impressions were taken by placing a soft, clay-like material inside the mouth.
However, this method could be uncomfortable for patients, particularly for those with a strong gag reflex.
Today, digital scanning technology can be used to create dental impressions. This reduces the burden on patients and, more importantly, converts dental impressions into digital data, making treatment planning and simulations possible in ways that were not previously available.
Patients can view not only their current tooth alignment but also a simulation of how their teeth may change over the course of treatment. This helps them understand the proposed treatment plan and consider their options more clearly.
LISA Class B Sterilizer by W&H
This equipment is used to sterilize medical and dental instruments.
Sterilizers are available in several classifications, generally ranked in the following order: Class N, Class S, and Class B.
Because hygiene is especially important in areas patients cannot directly see, we believe it deserves the highest level of attention.
For this reason, our clinic uses Class B sterilizers throughout the facility.
Class B sterilizers use high-pressure steam to sterilize a wide variety of instruments. This allows us to prepare thoroughly sterilized instruments for each patient and every treatment.

For many people, a dental clinic may not be somewhere they look forward to visiting. However, we do not believe that dental care should be associated only with discomfort or anxiety.

Spacious Treatment Areas
In addition to our operating room and private treatment rooms, our semi-private treatment areas have been designed to provide more space than is typically found in a dental clinic. This helps reduce feelings of confinement while maintaining privacy and allowing patients to relax.

Kids’ Room and Nursing Room
Adults are not the only patients who visit our clinic.
We want children to enjoy their time here while helping parents feel comfortable bringing the whole family.
At Orca Dental Clinic, our goal is to create a dental clinic that families can visit together. We provide a dedicated kids’ room, which is uncommon in many dental clinics, as well as a private nursing room for parents with infants.
Parents and children are welcome to visit us together.
Open Space for Pediatric Dentistry
Our children’s floor includes an open area without a dental treatment chair. You may wonder why a dental clinic would have a space without the familiar dental chair, but this area plays an important role.
At our clinic, we support children not only through dental treatment but also through hands-on practice, including learning how to brush their teeth and becoming familiar with procedures related to tooth alignment.
By helping children learn in an enjoyable way, we aim to support the development of healthy habits that allow them to care for their own oral health.
Waiting Areas on Two Separate Floors
To provide more space and support appropriate distancing, we have separate floors for adults and children.
Dividing the waiting areas allows us to provide a more spacious environment, even during busy periods.
Adults who prefer a quiet waiting area and parents who need to keep an eye on their children can each wait comfortably in an environment suited to their needs.
Dedicated Operating Room
We believe that advanced dental procedures should be performed in a dedicated environment.
Our clinic has a dedicated operating room for specialized surgical procedures, including implant treatment and tooth extractions, with careful attention to safety and hygiene.
We maintain both the equipment and clinical environment needed to provide specialized treatment appropriately.
